JD QC EngineerResponsibilities:

Inspection:Conduct regular inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Verify dimensional accuracy, material properties, and surface finishes.Inspect welding joints, seams, and fabrications for defects and inconsistencies.Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) as required, such as ultrasonic testing or dye penetrant testing.Quality Testing:Conduct various quality tests, including tensile strength tests, elongation tests, and tear strength tests.Analyze test results and compare them to specified tolerances.Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.Quality Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.Review and approve quality control documentation.Problem-Solving:Identify and troubleshoot quality issues promptly.Implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent future quality problems.Collaborate with the project team to resolve quality concerns.Continuous Improvement:Participate in quality improvement initiatives and suggest process improvements.Stay updated on industry best practices and new quality control techniques.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles in the construction industry, preferably in tensile membrane structures.Strong understanding of construction standards, codes, and regulations, such as ASTM, AISC, and local building codes.Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques, including statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 1 Preferred Qualifications:Certification in Quality Inspection or NDT techniques.

Experience with tensile membrane fabrication processes and materials.Proficiency in quality management software.
