We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer to join our APM Terminals Integration Platform Portfolio team - based in Bangalore (India).About the Position:A technology professional needed to partner in the implementation of complex technology projects. Working as part of a product team to partner in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality and innovative technology solutions. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for performing all phases of testing, including writing or capturing of BDDs and writing automated test scripts. This includes preparing environments, artifacts, execution, capture, and validation of Acceptance Criteria. You will also maintain and evolve testing processes and procedures. In this role, the focus is on translating business needs into robust and integrated test solutions using agile delivery methodologies.Key Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• Working knowledge in Java (11 or 17).
• Experience in BDD Test Automation Frameworks such as Cucumber-JVM, Cucumber, JBehave, RSpec, etc.
• Understanding of API technologies like RESTful and SAP.
• Experience with Framework Management tools like Maven, Ant, or Gradle.
• Familiarity with relational databases, e.g., Oracle, MSSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity, Bamboo, Anthillpro, Git.
• Strong understanding of Agile TDD/BDD practices.
• Ability to design, write, maintain, and scale test frameworks.
• Comfortable with existing Test Automation Frameworks and able to contribute towards their improvement.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Go Alert.
• Knowledge of Kafka, including configuring environments, building consumers, and validating output.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans, schedules, and procedures, and provide tools needed to meet testing requirements.
• Produce and analyse test metrics.
• Experience with MirrorMaker in Kafka.
• Translate business requirements into test specifications.
• Collaborate with development teams to design, build, and test applications, promoting a xe2x80x98shift-left culture.
• Organize testing efforts and define the approach/strategy.
• Support root-cause analysis to drive Continuous Improvement.
• Perform End-to-End testing, identifying, documenting, and escalating defects.
• Work closely with scrum teams to verify user story/epic acceptance criteria and test cases.
• Guide User Story analysis and scenario generation in BDD sessions to ensure high levels of test automation.
• Contribute to status reports on work progress and issues found during tests.
• Remain composed under pressure and encourage the team to maintain focus during changes.
• Support best testing practices across the department.
• Identify quality and technical debt, ensuring resolution.
• Promote continuous improvement within the testing environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for delivering high-quality products and solutions.
