Job Description

BL Radio Frequency Processing (RFP) is one of the four Business Lines of NXP Semiconductors and focusing on advanced CMOS Semiconductor Products and System solutions in Car Infotainment, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Personal Health applications. The SW Quality Director will be located in Bangalore, India, and report directly to the Senior Director Quality of BL RFP. She or he is member of the BL Quality Leadership Team as well as the SW R&D Leadership Team that is leaded by the BL SW R&D Vice President. The SW Quality Director leads the BL SW Quality team and is responsible for the Quality of the SW development of our global SW R&D organization of several hundred Engineers. She or he is in charge of compliance of our SW development processes with SW Quality standards (Automotive SPICE, CMMi) for SW development, SW testing and validation as well as System level testing and validation and the Quality decider for releasing our SW products to the market. We expect Senior Management experience in SW Quality, deep Automotive Spice competence, expertise in state of the art SW development practices (eg. Agile) and tools as well as practical experience in coding (C, C++, embedded SW, Java, Python) and SW integration. Practical project Management skills from international SW projects are regarded an advantage. Excellent communication skills for alignment with executive Management as well as top experts in SOC architecture and SW development are required and a strong authentic Quality Leadership mindset to inspire our world class SW development organization for Quality Excellence.
