Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Quality & Customer Compliance Manager to oversee quality assurance and customer compliance initiatives in our organization. The ideal candidate will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance to satisfy customer requirements and maintain industry certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Management:
• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO, FDA).
• Establish quality control procedures for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
• Customer Compliance:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer audits and inquiries related to quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer quality concerns and ensure timely resolution.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure that the organization remains compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare regulatory submissions, reports, and documentation as required.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and improve processes.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Audits and Inspections:
• Plan and conduct internal audits and supplier audits to assess compliance with QMS requirements and customer specifications.
• Coordinate and support external audits from regulatory agencies and customers.
• Training and Development:
• Train employees on quality policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a culture of quality and compliance awareness throughout the organization.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk.
• Prepare regular reports on quality performance and compliance status for management review.
Qualifications:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQM, CQE) is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or a related role in the chemical industry.
• Experience managing customer compliance and quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, cGMP).
• Excellent understanding of customer requirements and ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Leadership and project management skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate.
Additional Requirements:
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations relevant to chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with quality management software and systems (e.g., SAP QM, Track Wise) is preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for audits and customer meetings.
