Job Description

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- 06 to 8 yrs - at least 4 yrs in senior levels in Quality Control at Pharmaceutical Companies

Professional Qualification like B. Pharm, M. Pharm, MSc. or B.Sc.

- MS office-familiar with Excel, Word, Power point and Good documentation skills

- Thorough knowledge of Various Pharmacopoeia, and regulatory guideline.

SUBORDINATES:

1. Chemists (QC),

2. Chemists (Microbiologist)

3. Executives (QC).

JOB PURPOSE: Design, Implement & Monitor Organizational processes intended to yield consistency or

improvement in operational results. It is the responsibility of the Asst.Manager QC to ensure that the Materials &

products in the plant are tested according to current and approved specifications, as per approved SOP's and ensure

that the consumer will always receive a Quality product.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

1. Maintain Lab documents to meet the 100%QAC and 95% QMS

2. Ensure that all the material and products to be tested in right time and right direction.

3. Timely calibration of lab equipments and proper maintenance of equipments.

4. Monitoring of analytical status and work load distribution in Lab

5. Ensure all the required chemicals, Glassware and standards, Instrument accessories available in Lab to avoid

delay in testing of materials and products.

6. Ensure all the stability Protocols for regular Commercial /Accelerated /need based stability study protocols for

changes either at site or at Supplier whenever there are changes in process or Starting Materials or

Formulations.

7. Ensure the audit trails and reviewed the chromatograms in lab

8. Involved the market complaints investigations and reported.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Utilization of Chemicals, Glassware and standards & Instrument Accessories.

2. Equipment Maintenance (down time tracking).

3. Lab Chemists Qualification.
