A Food Quality Controller ensures that food products meet safety and quality standards throughout the production process. Here's a typical job description:

• Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
• Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and laboratory tests on food products to assess their quality, flavor, texture, and safety.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including test results and compliance reports.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products meet local, national, and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, FDA, and USDA standards.
• Problem Solving: Identify and investigate quality issues, implementing corrective actions and improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns and ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Training: Educate staff on quality control procedures and food safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience in food quality control or a related role is preferred.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools.
• Certifications: HACCP certification or other relevant food safety certifications may be required.

Work Environment:

• Primarily in food manufacturing facilities, laboratories, or production areas. May require occasional travel to suppliers or other facilities.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
