Job Description

The QC Employee will inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished silver jewellery to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail and a good understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Inspection: Check incoming silver materials for quality and consistency.
• In-Process Checks: Inspect jewellery at various production stages (casting, polishing, stone setting) for defects or deviations.
• Final Product Inspection: Ensure finished products meet specifications for design, weight, finish, and durability.
• Testing: Perform physical and chemical tests on products (e.g., weight, finish, stone setting).
• Documentation: Record inspection results and report any defects or quality concerns.
• Collaboration: Work with the production team to address quality issues and suggest improvements.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all products meet industry and company standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Prior experience in QC or jewellery inspection is preferred.
• Skills:
• Attention to detail with a keen eye for imperfections.
• Familiarity with silver jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.
• Attributes:
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
