Job Description

A quality control staff in civil construction manages the quality of a project, ensuring that it meets industry standards and is completed on time:

• Develop quality plans : Create quality plans, inspection and test plans, and procedures
• Coordinate with construction teams : Work with construction supervisors, schedulers, and planners to ensure the project quality system is implemented
• Ensure quality work : Make sure work meets the requirements of plans, specifications, and industry standards
• Conduct inspections : Perform detailed inspections at various stages of construction
• Train staff : Train site staff on quality compliance and safety measures
• Monitor compliance : Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Liaise with suppliers : Work with suppliers to ensure materials meet required quality standards
• Generate reports : Create quality reports and metrics
• Resolve issues : Discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems

The Quality Control Technician/Quality Control Assistant/Laboratory Technician supports process and product quality testing by preparing equipment and materials. He/She assists in tests to identify processes and products with knowledge ISO code and Nabl Guidliness . He/She assists to manage the quality control (QC) of the laboratory by performing routine monitoring and maintenance of equipment.

He/She may have to perform laboratory testing, record laboratory data and help prepare the audits of the laboratory. He/She is systematic in checking materials and would need to verify protocols before commencing on testing procedures. He/She should be a fast learner to apply and identify areas of improvement in the work processes, and be able to analyse to identify possible issues and solve routine problems effectively.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?600,000.00 per month
