As a Quality Control Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for performing inspections, tests, and analysis to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. Your expertise in ASNT certifications in RT (Radiographic Testing), PT (Liquid Penetrant Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), and UT (Ultrasonic Testing) will be essential in carrying out these tasks effectively. Responsibilities: \xe2\x97\x8f Perform inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and applicable regulations. \xe2\x97\x8f Utilize your ASNT certifications in RT, PT, MT, and UT to conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) and identify any defects, cracks, leaks, or other imperfections. \xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality assurance to identify and resolve quality issues. \xe2\x97\x8f Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines to enhance overall quality and efficiency. \xe2\x97\x8f Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and results, and prepare comprehensive reports for management review. \xe2\x97\x8f Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions to prevent quality deviations in the future. \xe2\x97\x8f Stay updated with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices related to quality control in the oil and gas sector. \xe2\x97\x8f Participate in audits and inspections by external regulatory bodies or clients, providing necessary documentation and support. Qualifications: \xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Materials, or related field. \xe2\x97\x8f ASNT certifications in RT, PT, MT, and UT are mandatory. \xe2\x97\x8f Proven experience in quality control or inspection roles within the oil and gas industry. \xe2\x97\x8f Solid knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations, such as API, ASME, ASTM, and ISO. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret test results and identify deviations or defects. \xe2\x97\x8f Proficiency in using various inspection and testing equipment, tools, and software. \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision. \xe2\x97\x8f Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and communicate inspection results and recommendations. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to make informed decisions quickly. \xe2\x97\x8f Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
