Basic Function :

The Quality Control Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the quality control processes within the factory. This includes ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards at all stages of production, from raw materials to final product. The role involves close collaboration with the Quality Manager and Production Supervisors to maintain smooth and efficient factory operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Quality Control Activities :
• Monitor and manage quality control at all stages of production, including raw materials, in-process products, and final products.
• Ensure that products meet customer specifications and regulatory quality standards.
• Testing & Equipment Management :
• Operate and maintain quality testing machinery and equipment, including tests for alloy, temper, hardness, and other critical material properties.
• Handle laboratory instruments for testing and perform required tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Record all results of testing activities at each stage of the production process.
• Material Sampling and Labeling :
• Conduct sampling of raw materials and finished products for testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.
• Label materials and finished products according to specifications for traceability and quality assurance.
• Ensure proper labeling and verification of product quantity before dispatch.
• Identification of Non-Conformities :
• Identify non-conformities at any stage of production, from raw materials to finished goods.
• Draw control samples from each batch of raw materials and finished goods, and from regular online control samples during production.
• Correction & Corrective Actions :
• In the event of non-conformities, decide on corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
• Implement corrective action plans in coordination with production and engineering teams to resolve issues promptly and prevent recurrence.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Record observations and quality control results in detailed reports, ensuring that all testing and inspection results are documented accurately.
• Prepare and submit daily quality control reports in predefined formats to the concerned departments or stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Calibration and Instrument Monitoring :
• Monitor and ensure the calibration of all measuring instruments to maintain accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Address any issues related to the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Collaboration with Product Development & Production :
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure that new products meet quality standards and are approved according to company guidelines.
• Work closely with production supervisors and operators to ensure the online quality of products during manufacturing and assembly.
• Total Quality Planning :
• Participate in total quality planning processes to ensure continuous improvement in production efficiency and product quality.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to maintain consistent product quality.
• Other Responsibilities :
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the management to support the factory's quality control efforts and maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to the established quality management procedures and policies.

Required Qualifications :

• Education : Diploma or B.Tech in relevant fields (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control).
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills :
• Proficient in using quality testing machinery and laboratory instruments.
• Strong knowledge of alloy, temper, and hardness testing.
• Ability to identify and resolve quality issues quickly.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with quality management systems and industry standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and departments.

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month
