Job Title:
Quality Control Analyst

Summary: Quality Control Analyst is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. The key responsibilities include conducting thorough analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various testing methods. The analyst must enforce adherence to quality control procedures, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Recording and documenting detailed information, performing root cause analysis, and preparing reports are essential tasks.

Responsibilities Include:
1. Sample Analysis:
Conduct thorough analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various testing methods and equipment.
2. Quality Testing:
Perform quality control tests to ensure that products or services meet specified standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
3. Data Collection and Recording:
Record and document detailed information on all testing and analysis conducted, ensuring accuracy and traceability of results.
4. Compliance Management:
Monitor and enforce adherence to quality control procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
6. Method Development and Validation:
Participate in the development and validation of analytical methods for quality testing.
7. Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as production, research and development, and regulatory affairs, to address quality-related concerns and implement improvements.
8. Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for enhancement in quality control processes.
9. Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of quality control procedures, test results, and any corrective actions taken. Generate reports summarizing findings and present them to relevant stakeholders.
10. Document Control:
Manage document control processes related to quality control, including the approval and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
