Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on Raw Material (RM) Testing , ensuring that all incoming materials meet the required quality and compliance standards. This role is critical to maintaining the integrity and performance of our cosmetic products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure all raw materials comply with internal quality specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Document and maintain accurate records of testing results and analysis reports.
• Work closely with procurement and production teams to resolve raw material quality issues.
• Perform routine calibrations and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Develop and revise SOPs related to raw material testing and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality-related non-conformances.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO, GMP, and FDA requirements.
• Stay updated on advancements in raw material testing methodologies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in a quality control/quality assurance role, preferably in the cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of raw material specifications, testing techniques, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory management software.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From ?12,000.00 per month
