Job Title: Quality Check intern Location: M.G Road, Agra Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Quality Check intern who is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of published materials. This role involves meticulously reviewing manuscripts, proofs, and final copies for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting, as well as verifying adherence to house style and publishing standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Manuscript Review: Thoroughly review manuscripts for grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors. Ensure manuscripts comply with house style and editorial guidelines.
- Proofreading: Proofread galleys and final proofs to ensure high quality of published content.
- Cross-check references, citations, and other factual information for accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct pre-publication checks to ensure all corrections have been made and no new errors introduced.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and authors to resolve any quality issues.
- Process Improvement: Develop and maintain quality control procedures and checklists.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving editorial processes and standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all quality control checks and reviews
- Prepare quality reports and summaries for management review.
- Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in English, Journalism, Publishing, or a related field
