We are seeking an Agriculture Quality Auditor to assess and ensure the quality of our agricultural products and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies, and identifying areas for improvement in both product quality and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quality Auditing:
• Conduct regular audits of agricultural products, processes, and sales operations to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
• Review product specifications, quality control measures, and operational procedures to identify any discrepancies or non-compliance.
• Perform on-site audits at agricultural production facilities or partner farms, ensuring product quality meets established benchmarks.
• Compliance Monitoring:
• Monitor and ensure adherence to all internal quality standards and industry regulations (e.g., food safety, pesticide usage, sustainability).
• Identify areas where company processes deviate from industry standards or regulatory requirements and recommend corrective actions.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, discrepancies, and non-compliance issues.
• Track audit results and provide timely feedback to relevant departments for corrective actions.
• Maintain an organized system of audit records, reports, and corrective action plans.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Work with quality management teams and operations to recommend improvements based on audit findings.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new quality control processes or enhancements to existing procedures.
• Training and Awareness:
• Provide training to staff on quality auditing processes and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Support the development of training materials that improve awareness of quality standards and best practices within the organization.
• Supplier Audits and Evaluations:
• Evaluate suppliers of agricultural products, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Conduct supplier audits and assess supplier performance in terms of product quality and consistency.
• Risk Management and Mitigation:
• Identify potential risks in agricultural operations and quality processes and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.
• Ensure that the company is prepared for any external audits or inspections from regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture, M.Sc. Agriculture), or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Auditor or in a similar quality control/quality assurance role, preferably in the agriculture or food industry.
• Strong understanding of agricultural products, quality standards, and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with quality auditing standards such as ISO, HACCP, or other relevant certifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with teams and external partners.
• Proficiency with auditing software, Microsoft Office, and data management systems.
• Ability to travel to different sites or facilities for on-site audits.
