Posted on 14.06.2024 Whats important to us: Techversant is seeking a Senior QA Lead to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will also be responsible for developing and documenting comprehensive testing strategies that align with organizational goals and the needs of different engineering teams. You will be reporting to the Project Manager. The Manual Testing Lead is responsible for leading the manual testing efforts of the QA team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. This role involves designing and executing test plans, managing a team of testers, and collaborating with other departments to identify and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of manual testers, providing guidance and support.
Allocate tasks and manage resources to ensure project deadlines are met.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
Execute manual tests to identify bugs and ensure the software meets business and user.
Document and report test results and work closely with developers to resolve identified.
Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices within the team.
Implement and maintain testing processes and methodologies.
Review and analyse system specifications to identify testing requirements.
Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
Participate in requirement and design review meetings.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve product quality and user experience.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in manual testing.
Identify areas for improvement within the testing process and implement effective solutions.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members to enhance their skills.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manual testing, with at least 4 years in a lead role.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Familiarity with various testing techniques and methodologies.
