We are now looking for a Quality Assurance Technical Lead to join our South Asia Operational Organization based in Chennai , India


Our organization is currently experiencing significant growth, necessitating the expansion of our team to meet increasing demands and maintain our competitive edge. To support this expansion, we require additional leadership to effectively manage the increased workload and ensure our team continues to operate at peak efficiency.


In conclusion, the creation of this new position is a strategic move to support our growth, enhance communication, and improve operational efficiency. The presence of strong, co-located leadership will be instrumental in driving our success and ensuring we continue to meet our organizational objectives.




What will you be doing:


As a Quality Assurance Technical Lead , yourdaily duties include but are not limited to:


• Responsible for carrying out procedures to ensure that all the software meets standards and end-user requirements.
• Manage a team with effective leadership and communication skills.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand product specifics and create corresponding test strategies.
• Manage and oversee system integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Identify opportunities to streamline work across the teams to drive efficiency and efficacy of testing procedures and methodologies.
• Contribute to company vision. Participate in solution road map planning and technology evaluation.






You will shine in this role, when you have:


• B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical), or I.T.
• 7-10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role, with experience managing remote teams.
• Knowledge and experience in products and performance testing.
• Knowledge and experience of system automation and common tools and libraries.
• Passionate about solution quality and 100% test coverages. Attention to details.
• Expertise in coding with Java, Java Script, Python and other scripting languages for developing QA automations strongly desired.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
• Knowledge and experience with Linux, Docker, and common system maintenance tools.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to embrace a fast-moving environment and comfortable with quickly adapting to changing priorities.
• Self-driven, highly motivated and can work with a high degree of autonomy and is able to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report to the manager abroad and manage the local team.
• Ability to manage time effectively, especially when working across different zones.


Nice to have


• Willingness to adjust work hours to overlap with the working hours of the team and the manager abroad.
• Any knowledge and/or interest in electrical concepts, power grids, renewable or green energy is always a plus.
