Our mission is to enable clean energy generation through computing technologies.We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technical Lead in India, preferably based in Chennai, Hyderabad or Mumbai, to work with our teams headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, US and Mumbai, India.What will you be doing:

• Responsible for carrying out procedures to ensure that all the software meets standards and end-user requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand product specifics and create corresponding test strategies.
• Manage and oversee system integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
• Identify opportunities to streamline work across the teams to drive efficiency and efficacy of testing procedures and methodologies.
• Contribute to company vision. Participate in solution road map planning and technology evaluation.
• Aspirations to grow into a leadership role.

You will shine in this role, when you have:

• BE or B Tech in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical), or I.T.
• 7-10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Experience in leadership or managerial role, with experience managing remote teams a plus.
• Knowledge and experience in products and performance testing.
• Knowledge and experience of system automation and common tools and libraries.
• Passionate about solution quality and 100% test coverages. Attention to details.
• Expertise in coding with Python QA automations strongly desired.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, and other scripting languages is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
• Knowledge and experience with Linux, Docker, and common system maintenance tools.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to embrace a fast-moving environment and comfortable with quickly adapting to changing priorities.
• Self-driven, highly motivated and can work with a high degree of autonomy and is able to prioritize effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively report to the manager abroad and ultimately manage the local team.
• Ability to manage time effectively, especially when working across different zones.

Nice to have:

• Willingness to adjust work hours to overlap with the working hours of the team and the manager abroad.
• Any knowledge and/or interest in electrical concepts, power grids, renewable or green energy is always a plus.
