Individuals in this role bring together technical experience, people leadership skills, and an understanding of the business of building software to positively influence the product, team, and company.The successful candidate has lots of hands-on testing and test automation experience and understands and advocates for the role that quality plays in the SDLC. They will spend their time analyzing the quality practices of the teams, identifying areas for improvement, and working to implement changes around those areas which will include coaching and training of other engineering staff, developing tools, people management and servant leadership activities. As a member of the leadership team, they will broadly contribute to the smooth running of the department alongside other managers.
