We\'re looking for a talented Quality Assurance Manager to join our team of product managers, designers, and engineers to conceive, design, and develop innovative automotive-shopping experiences for our customers. Looking for a Quality Assurance Manager with a strong testing and technical background and solid people management skills to build, manage and develop highly-capable and experienced quality teams in India. We\'re looking for a highly motivated, customer-centric leader that has a keen eye on quality as well as a strategic vision to transform quality testing and automation solutions to meet our high quality standards. Key job responsibilities As a QATM, you would enjoy a fast-paced environment where you can obsess over customer, create and simplify QA solutions, and manage a team of QA Engineers and QA Techs that are delivering quality releases daily. In addition to experience with building and leading successful test teams, we\'re looking for someone to drive processes that minimize defect introduction, as well as creation and execution of testing procedures to uncover and troubleshoot defects that are present. The successful Quality Assurance Manager will be obsessed with customer experience, quality improvement, and challenge the status quo. In this role, you will: . Hire, manage, train, and lead a team of Software Test Development Engineers, and QA Engineers. . Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution . Scope, create and maintain end-to-end test systems . Coordinate test approaches, test cases, and test methodology with remote teams . Ensure the quality of our software exceed both advertising and shopping customers\' expectations. . Dive deep into our testing methodologies to transform manual quality process to highly automated quality solutions. A day in the life You will be deploying your technical acumen and experience in driving the development of maintainable, reliable automation deliverables that would withstand the test of time. You will be working closely with senior leadership, product managers, Sr. SDEs, SDETs, QA Engineers and highly motivated peers. About the team This role is on a team with a vision to create innovative automotive discovery and shopping experiences on Amazon, providing customers better convenience and more selection. We\'re collaborating with other experienced teams at Amazon to define the future of how customers research and shop for cars online. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Gurugram, HR, IND BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience - 4+ years of quality assurance teams management experience - Experience managing manual testers - Experience managing automation testers - Experience testing web technologies and back-end services - Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background - Experience in automation testing PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals - Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation
