ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSxefx80xad Develop and implement quality systems, manuals and procedures to comply with ISO 9001, PED, ATEX, customer and other regulatoryrequirements.xefx80xad Perform internal audits and reports to management on the effectiveness of the QMS and suggestions for improvement.xefx80xad Perform system audits of other company facilities and suppliers.xefx80xad Represent Company in regulatory and customer audits, facility surveys and third party inspections.xefx80xad Facilitate and coordinate resolution of technical problems with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers and sales personnel.xefx80xad Maintain corrective action program and facilitate the resolution of nonconformities.xefx80xad Supervise, assist, and advise all inspectors and QEs as needed. Evaluate and document QA personnel performance. Provide backup forinspection personnel as required.xefx80xad Provide input for Quality Department budgeting, capital needs and long range planning.xefx80xad Maintain calibration and control system for all precision measuring and test equipment.xefx80xad Develop, implement and maintain company-wide safety/health program.xefx80xad Ensure compliance to regulatory agencies, documented procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.xefx80xad Provide training programs and instruction to employees.xefx80xad Coordinate and conduct accident investigations and take corrective action.xefx80xad Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCExefx80xad Bachelor's degree or equivalent with seven (8 to 10) years experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.xefx80xad Knowledge of welding, metallurgy, testing of valves, manufacturing processes and process control techniques.xefx80xad Minimum of two (2) years management/supervisory experiencexefx80xad Experience in development and implementation of supply chain quality programxefx80xad Experience maintaining approved vendor program
