Role Description


We are seeking a skilled QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance process for our software development projects. In this role, you will lead a team of QA engineers, develop and implement testing strategies, and work closely with development teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, and a passion for delivering exceptional software solutions.





• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and conduct performance reviews to ensure the team meets quality goals.
• Test Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Quality Assurance Process: Oversee the entire QA process, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting. Ensure that best practices and industry standards are followed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for regression, performance, and load testing. Use tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects. Work with development teams to resolve issues and ensure that fixes meet quality standards.
• Test Environment Management: Set up and maintain test environments, including managing test data and configuring test systems.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key quality metrics such as test coverage, defect rates, and test execution results. Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and drive improvements in the QA process, tools, and techniques. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Core/Must have skills


Experience: 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or lead role.


Testing Frameworks: Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or Cucumber.


Manual Testing: Strong skills in manual testing methodologies including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.


Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages for test automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.


Defect Tracking: Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.

Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.




Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Good to have skills


Certifications: QA certifications such CSTE, CPST or similar are a plus.


Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.


Performance Testing: Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar.




DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and version control systems (Git).
