The Quality Assurance Executive in the Snacks and Namkeen industry is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
The role involves conducting routine inspections, quality checks, and audits of production processes, raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct daily inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet the required quality standards and specifications for taste, texture, appearance, and safety.
• Perform routine and periodic audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with both internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements (e.g., FSSAI, BIS, ISO, etc.).
• Conduct sensory evaluation (taste, smell, texture) and lab-based testing (moisture content, microbiological testing, shelf-life analysis) of products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and health and safety requirements in the production environment. Ensure that Good Manufacturing
• Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and food safety standards are strictly followed.
• Monitor and assess the quality of raw materials (flours, spices, oils, packaging materials) sourced from suppliers. Collaborate with procurement teams to resolve any issues related to supplier quality.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve quality-related issues and provide technical support for process optimization, product consistency, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate any non-conformance issues or defects in finished products, analyze root causes, and collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of quality inspections, testing results, corrective actions, and audits. Prepare regular quality reports for senior management, highlighting trends, product quality issues, and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze customer complaints related to product quality and taste. Investigate issues, identify areas for improvement, and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Proactively contribute to process and product improvements by identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency, quality, and safety in production. Participate in the implementation of new technologies and methods for quality enhancement.
• Train production and operational staff on quality assurance procedures, hygiene standards, and safety protocols to ensure consistent adherence to quality norms.
