The Technical Lead, Quality Assurance Engineer role showcases your ability to provide technical prowess across quality and automation aspects of software development of modern web stacks. You are empowered to innovate, communicate, collaborate, and deliver with other engineers, product managers, and designers. You will play a crucial role in enabling the online experiences people have with their money to solve for a mixture of user experience automated/manual testing frameworks, distributed system testing, and performance testing as we work towards ensuring outcomes that make big impacts. This role will:

• Showcase constructive communication, collaboration, and delivery skills
• Work on a focused team of highly capable engineers, and designers using Agile engineering practices, modern continuous delivery capabilities, and product analytics
• Dive deep into technical, and business-related areas to enable end-to-end tests based on deep understanding of how users interact with our apps and services
• Collaborate with other engineers, UX designers, and product managers to build on each others ideas to craft effective solutions, and breakdown business problems into actionable work items
• Advocate for quality and actively listen to product engineers to enable them to build with quality every day
• Responsible to develop, maintain, review and run automation scripts
• Responsible to setup and configure test environments for Dev team
• Responsible to create, review test scenarios and develop test plans
• Responsible to execute them
• Lead User acceptance testing discussions
• Responsible to test UI , API layer and Database layer
• Logging defects into JIRA/TFS with required information
• Testing applications for responsive behavior for omni channel experience
• Develop reusable assets, create knowledge repository

What youll bring along:

• Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience
• 4 or more years of relevant experience building automated/manual tests
• 4 or more years of relevant experience evaluating business requirements and technical systems to formulate testing strategies
• 2 or more years contributing to automation frameworks based on selenium
• 2 or more years enabling build automations with build tools (Jenkins, harness)
• Performance testing automation experience
• Thoughtful and constructive code review capabilities

What would be great to have:

• Knowledge of SQL Server
• High volume systems knowledge
• Enterprise targeted software product knowledge
