What you\'ll be doing...

One Message team is looking for a lead quality assurance specialist to understand requirements and take ownership in completing testing for the requirements in the enterprise or maintenance releases. Also, develop (or) test automation tools to achieve automation goals for one message application.
One Message application includes API\'S and template engine system which process requests for end systems and send communications to customers through email/SMS.

• Analyzing requirement and developing system test plans.
• Executing system tests and supporting for UAT testing.
• Escalating defects and triage defects for quicker resolution.
• Using Automation testing in the current framework to reduce manual effort.
• Using suitable automation tools - SOAP UI/POSTMAN for API testing.
• Improving automation framework and build robust automated regression suite for release regression in lower and producing environment (using Selenium tool).
• Reporting Testing and Defect metrics to stakeholders reporting and resolving defects.

In this hybrid role, you\'ll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we\'re looking for...

You will be working on testing the application API\'s and certify the API\'s in system/UAT testing to enable the changes in production for enterprise and maintenance releases. You will be involved in daily touch point calls to update on testing progress and report any showstoppers or impediments in testing completion. As quality assurance team member, triage on the open defects and ensure defects are addressed in a timely manner. Leverage testing tools, as required in the testing of user interface applications and API\'s.
Automated testing should be planned and executed for release testing as required. Work on UI test automation tools like Selenium, API test tools - SOAP UI, POSTMAN

You\'ll need to have:

• Bachelor\'s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in API testing, CICD tools - Jenkins.
• Experience in test automation using Selenium tool.
• Experienced in agile delivery model testing.
• Experience in API test tools - SOAP UI, POSTMAN.
• Knowledge in development using core java.
• Knowledge in Java microservices development.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in RPA automation tools like Automation anywhere, UI Path.
• Experience in CICD development.
• Agile Certifications - Scrum master, SAFE Agile.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development and agile methodology.
