You will get to see your ideas come to life in products that support more than 50% of the automotive dealers in US.SummaryThe position requires strong knowledge of STLC to validate microservice base applications developed for multi-channel marketing campaign platform supporting Fortune 100 companies.The position\xe2\x80\x99s purpose includes, but is not limited to:

• Senior Quality Assurance who has good understanding of STLC.
• Understand the Agile method of software development using Scrum.
• Very good understanding of Manual and Automation testing for UI and microservices.
• Understand the complex requirement and identify the scenarios with or without UI presence.
• Analysis and design of new and enhanced features for the marketing platform as per business requirements
• Communication with stakeholders, Developer, Product Owner and production support teams etc. to address issues/concerns.
• Actively participate in design discussion and features development as per requirement.
• Assistance of Production Support team for troubleshooting issues
• Development work for automation of operational tasks.
• Assist with reporting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with QA, developers, project managers, business analysts and business users in conceptualizing, estimating, and developing new software applications and enhancements.
• Be part of software development plans, including scoping, scheduling, providing time estimates for programming tasks and implementation plans.
• Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software\xe2\x80\x99s objectives, business requirements, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with internal users and departments.
• Develop test plan or test strategy documents defining features and system components, testing environment and implementation planning/strategies
• Prepare work assignments, and work on given timelines with other team members.
• Collaborate with QA and development team to define test cases, to work on defect fixes and resolve questions about test results.
• Develops and implements solutions in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Administer full project documentation efforts in accordance with policy and procedure
• Performs root cause analysis (RCA) to act on fix or user stories.
• Works with cross-functional teams during crisis to address and resolve complex incidents and problems in addition to assessment, analysis, and resolution of cross-functional issues.
• Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures associated with development requires improvement and helps in the process improvement activity.
• Update/create Knowledge Base Articles and case studies as necessary. Assist in the creation and improvement of Knowledge Management

Qualifications

• Senior Quality Assurance Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in manual and automation testing.
• Excellent skills in API testing manually and using automation tools.
• Excellent skills in UI testing manually and using automation tools.
• Very good knowledge of testing strategies like smoke, Integration, functional and Regression testing.
• Excellent knowledge of using API testing tools like POSTMAN, REST Assured, Karate (preferred).
• Excellent skills in Automation testing using Selenium, Java, Cucumber, TestNG.
• Very good knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, Oracle.
• Needs strong hands-on experience in authorizing manual test cases for Functional and Regression testing.
• Need strong hands-on creating automation test script for UI and API.
• Needs hands-on experience on Cucumber BDD framework, POM, API automation (Rest Assured/ Karate).
• Excellent in impact-analysis and root cause analysis.
• Excellent trouble shooting and debugging skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to anticipate and avoid problems.
• Experience in performance tuning, application monitoring and support of production applications with distributed teams.
• Ability to define and implement migration strategies from legacy systems to new architecture and technologies.
• Ability to work well within a team environment that includes geographically distributed team members.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of management, including communicating technical information to nontechnical audiences.
• Ability to design and build flexible and extensible systems with focus on code reuse and generation.
• Experience with writing detailed technical specifications for developers; design, validate and execute software test plans.
• Familiar with Application Development Life Cycle and be able to independently participate in design discussions and work on components.
• Good to have knowledge on API Automation with Karate Framework.
• Education: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent

Preferred qualificationsTechnical

• Working knowledge of test automation script development using Selenium, Cucumber, POM, TestNG, SQL.
• Good to have API automation experience using POSTMAN, Karate/ Rest Assured Framework
• Experience with GIT, TFS, Code checks in and Code merging preferred.
• Strong knowledge in providing solutions.
