Job Description

Job Overview:

The Quality Assistant supports the Quality Assurance (QA) team in monitoring and maintaining product and service quality. The role involves assisting in the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of quality management systems to ensure that products or services meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Control Support:
• Assist in daily quality control checks and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Inspect products, materials, or services to identify defects and inconsistencies.
• Report non-conformances and collaborate with relevant teams to address issues.
• Document Management:
• Maintain and update quality documentation, such as inspection records, audit reports, and corrective action reports.
• Ensure the proper filing and organization of quality-related documents.
• Compliance Monitoring:
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audit preparation, including gathering necessary documentation and ensuring records are complete and accurate.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities to enhance product and process quality.
• Assist with the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
• Communication & Reporting:
• Provide regular updates to the Quality Manager on quality performance and any areas of concern.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and ensure product or service improvements.
• Training & Support:
• Support the Quality Manager in delivering training to staff on quality procedures and best practices.
• Assist in the onboarding of new employees by explaining the company's quality standards and expectations.
• Health & Safety:
• Adhere to company health and safety policies, ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing).
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a quality-related role, preferably in a manufacturing, production, or service environment.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection techniques, and quality management systems (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Working Conditions:

• Standard office environment with occasional visits to production or manufacturing areas (if applicable).
• Some travel may be required for audits or quality inspections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Yearly bonus

Experience:

• Quality management: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 28/10/2024
