• Quality Control Operations:
• Conduct routine quality checks during production, including testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Monitor product consistency and identify any non-conformities in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Compliance and Documentation:
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, or equivalent.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality reports, audit findings, and corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing for external and internal audits.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify areas for improvement in production processes to enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with the production and R&D teams to develop solutions to quality issues.
• Training and Supervision:
• Provide guidance and training to production staff on quality and safety protocols.
• Supervise junior quality team members, if applicable, and ensure adherence to quality guidelines.
• Customer Complaint Management:
• Investigate quality-related customer complaints and provide detailed reports to the Quality Manager.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to address recurring issues.
• Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
• Verify that quality control equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Monitor facility hygiene and sanitation to ensure food safety standards are maintained.
