Quality Analyst / Sr. Quality Analyst - Automation (Appium)
EXPERIENCE : 3 - 7 Years
JOB LOCATION : BANGALORE, INDIA
Roles & Responsibilities:
Create test plans, test cases, release notes, test logs etc. based on requirements and test execution- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and executes manual and/or automated test scripts
- Ensure proper test coverage exists based on requirements and design specifications
- Perform functional and non-functional tests
- Perform Automation as required
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure high quality
- Reviews and reports complex test results. Defines regression tests for future projects.
- Participates in production verification and validation
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Maintain QA documents up-to-date across Sprints
- Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features
- Suggest ways and implement them to improve Agile testing practices
What you need, to be successful
Must have skills:
Understand SDLC, familiar with Agile Methodology- Worked on Automation testing using Java, Appium, and TestNG
- Worked on Mobile application testing
- Working knowledge of API Testing using Postman
- Familiarity with development and configuration tools (Git, Jira, etc.)
- Familiar with QA processes, understand test methodologies, Unit Test Framework
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills to describe the findings
- Familiar with documenting the test plans and test processes
Good to have skills:
Experience on performance testing using JMeter- Experience in writing SQL queries
- Experience in Test Management Tools
- Experience in innovative engineering manufacturing (e.g., automotive, heavy industries)
or telecommunication industries are highly recommended.
- Experience in any IoT in any sector, or IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things)
