Job Description

TE Connectivity\'s Quality Assurance Teams are responsible for all or part of an organization\'s Quality Management System, including conformance and continuous improvement initiatives. They work on systemic evaluation of products, services, facilities, manufacturing or business processes, to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Develop and implement quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses. They reviews, analyze and report on quality discrepancies, investigate problems and executes quality audits, and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. The team works closely with manufacturing, engineering, customers, or suppliers and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met.

Roles & Responsibilities

ROLE OBJECTIVE To handle QMS RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure effective implementation of quality management system.
• Carry out process and product audit to ensure adherence of quality systems.
• Ensuring Plant level LPA is being done as per plan.
• Eliminating defects by using various tools.
• Ensures Document Control is established and ensures training profiles are assigned and enforced and training administration is established within scope
• Management and Coordination of Change Controls for the Site
• Quality Functions
• Tracking and monitoring of performance against the set monthly, weekly, daily targets at all the workstations.
• Deployment & ensuring adherence to all Quality Management Targets in line with corporate and unit level targets.
• Create awareness on customer concerns / complaints / requirements with shop floor team.
• Handling of QMS, VDA & Customer Audits independently
• To drive New product development activities from Quality side
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice capacity planning vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
• Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Quality Management Systems (QMS)

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

• BE/ B.Tech (Electronic, Mechanical)
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred
• Knowledge of Quality Core Tools
• Should be Certified Internal Auditor for IATF & VDA (Preferred)

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE 8 to 10 + years of experience in QMS field
Should have experience in handling QMS & external customer audits independently
Experience in preparing Documents such as PFC, CP, FMEA, MSA
Develop and implement system improvements to maintain process excellence through Measurement & Analysis
Develop and document procedures and action plans to define new systems and continually improve existing systems
