This is our pledge to meet an ambitious goal: the elimination of all greenhouse gases from our work by 2030.Your RoleAs a QA Engineer in the Data Platform studio, you will be part of the QA team that develops automated tests for our Knowledge Management tools used by knowledge managers within Gensler. You will work with a team of web developers, service developers, database developers and product managers that are responsible for the development and maintenance of Gensler\xe2\x80\x99s KM applicationsWhat You Will DoWork with the QA Team to define the overall testing strategy including definition of end-to-end and acceptance planReviewing and analyzing software requirements and specificationsDevelop well-structured and detailed test plans and test casesIdentifying, documenting, and reporting software defectsDesign and implement robust automated tests using Selenium and PythonCommunicate test plans to stakeholders to ensure all testing activities are conducted in line with expectationsCreate reports, dashboards and metrics to enable visibility into the status and progress of our products, tests, and releasesWork closely with the software development team to troubleshoot and resolve issuesDevelop a data quality test plan from the ground up to enable data quality issues to be discovered via automationYour QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent related field2-5+ years of experience in the field of Software Engineering or Quality AssuranceExperience in testing web applications and REST API servicesSolid understanding of the Software Development Life CycleAbility to learn quickly in a dynamic environment, be a team player, and work with globally distributed teamsExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processPerformance and/or security testing experience is a plus2+ years of experience programming with Python.2+ years of experience writing SQL.2+ years of experience building automated tests with tools such as JenkinsLife at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
