Job descriptionJob Title: Chartered Accountant (Work from Home)Location: Work from Home, Corporate Office in Jalandhar, PunjabJob Type: Full-Time / Permanent:As a Chartered Accountant you will be responsible for handling key financial functions such as auditing, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will play a key role in managing the financial health of the organization and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they comply with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and other regulatory requirements.
• Taxation & GST Filing: Handle direct and indirect tax matters, including preparation and filing of GST returns, income tax returns, and tax planning strategies for the organization.
• Audit Management: Oversee internal audits and statutory audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections to ensure effective resource allocation and financial planning.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide recommendations to senior management on cost-saving measures, profitability, and business expansion.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and legal requirements in all financial transactions.
• Liaison with Auditors & Tax Authorities: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including finance, operations, and HR, to ensure financial strategies align with business objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws (direct & indirect), GST regulations, and corporate accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working remotely or managing teams in a remote work setup.
• Familiarity with the local business environment (Jalandhar, Punjab) and relevant regulations is an added advantage.
• Masters degree in Finance or Business Administration is a plus.
