. API Automation testing . Java . Selenium Detailed JD: Responsibilities: . Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive unit test coverage of the code . Building, customizing, deploying, and managing the environment/ test automation frameworks . Checking for product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance . Participating in design and architectural discussions . Reviewing and debugging code . Sign off on promoting new code through our deployment pipeline . Preparing Test Reports . Building robust, scalable, and high quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing . Experience with testing UIs, Web service, Process Workflows . Good knowledge of any QA automation framework (Selenium, Robot framework) . Work collaboratively with all members of the Delivery and Test Teams utilizing agile methodology. . Participate in requirement reviews, application assessment and feasibility analysis . Participate in code/peer reviews with team members, developers and/or third party vendors. . Participate in development of test data strategy and preparation of data . Participate on continuous improvement efforts within the technology organization . Provide mentoring or coaching to junior test engineers, developers, testers and QA Requirements: . Minimum of 8-9 years of software development and automated testing experience . Willing to work 3AM to 12PM Eastern Standard Time . Technical skills and programming languages should include but is not limited to: Java, JUnit, SQL RestAssured, Selenium Grid/WebDriver, Cucumber/Gherkin, Jmeter. . Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle . Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) . Experience working in an agile engineering environment . Experience with building solutions for digital platforms(Mobile,Web,etc), API\'s and backend . Demonstrate knowledge of Quality Center, ALM, Jira, Rally or related tools . Familiarity with software testing (unit, integration, functional, regression). . Experience with source control, build and deployment tools such as Subversion, Jenkins, , Maven, Git, TeamCity, Chef. . Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Gherkin, Ruby, Selenium, etc. . Familiarity with web services standards and related technologies (XML, SOAP, JSON, etc.). . Experience working on Linux/Unix environment. . Knowledge of database query tools and ability write and run SQL queries . Must be able to multitask and work independently or in a team .
