Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet established quality standards and specifications through rigorous inspections, testing, and monitoring of production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Conduct inspections and audits of production processes, materials, components, and finished products to identify quality issues, defects, or non-conformities.
• Review specifications, blueprints, and technical documents to understand quality requirements, tolerances, and acceptance criteria for products.
• Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests using precision tools, equipment, and instruments to verify product dimensions, appearance, and functionality.
• Collect and analyze quality data, metrics, and performance indicators to evaluate process capabilities, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document and report quality findings, deviations, and corrective actions taken, maintaining accurate records, logs, and inspection reports for traceability and accountability.
• Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and suppliers to address quality issues, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify underlying causes of quality issues, applying techniques such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and Pareto analysis.
• Monitor adherence to quality standards, work instructions, and regulatory requirements throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with ISO, FDA, or industry-specific quality standards.
• Train and educate production staff on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of quality awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in product development and validation activities, providing input on design reviews, risk assessments, and validation protocols to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Coordinate with external auditors, customers, and regulatory agencies during quality audits, inspections, or certifications, providing documentation and support as needed.
• Conduct supplier quality assessments and inspections, evaluating supplier performance, capabilities, and adherence to quality standards, and communicating feedback to suppliers.
• Implement quality assurance tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma, or lean manufacturing principles, to monitor and improve process performance and product quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and standards (e.g., ISO, FDA).
• Proficiency in using quality control tools and software (e.g., statistical analysis software, inspection tools).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to participate in continuous learning and professional development.
