is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality and regulatory standards before release. This role involves conducting inspections, analyzing samples, maintaining quality documentation, and working with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and compliance.
Perform routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using techniques such as
HPLC, GC, UV Spectroscopy, and FTIR
.
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments like
Agilent HPLC, Shimadzu HPLC, and Agilent GC
.
Ensure proper calibration and validation of laboratory equipment.
Analyze test results, identify deviations, and report non-conformities to relevant departments.
2. Compliance & Documentation:
Prepare and maintain
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
, test reports, and Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
Ensure compliance with
GMP, GLP, ISO, and regulatory requirements
.
Maintain records of quality control activities and submit timely reports to management.
3. Inspection & Audits:
Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications.
Participate in internal and external audits and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment following safety protocols.
4. Process Improvement & Training:
Identify quality issues and work with production teams to implement improvements.
Provide training to new QC staff on laboratory procedures and quality control standards.
Assist in root cause analysis for product failures and recommend corrective actions.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacy, or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum
2 years
of experience in QC, specifically handling
HPLC (Agilent/Shimadzu), GC, and other analytical instruments
.

Technical Skills:
Knowledge of analytical techniques, method validation, and laboratory equipment.
?
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with
GMP, GLP, ISO, FDA, MHRA
guidelines.

Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in
pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, or chemical industries
.
Knowledge of
LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

Certification in
Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001, or related)
