1. Perform quality inspections throughout the production process to identify any deviations from standards.
2. Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent quality issues.
3. Conduct routine checks on packaging materials, including laminates, to ensure they meet specifications.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
5. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards and procedures.
7. Assist in the identification and establishment of Critical Control Points (CCPs) and Operational Prerequisite Programs (OPRPs) in the production process.
8. Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
9. Maintain a presence in the manufacturing unit throughout the day to oversee quality control processes and address any issues that arise.
10. Prepare and submit daily reports on production, dispatch, and packaging activities.
11. Report to the Quality Manager at the Head Office regarding quality control observations, concerns, and recommendations.
12. Check raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) at the time of receiving to ensure they meet quality standards.
13. Conduct final inspection of finished goods (FG) at the time of dispatch to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in food science, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.
2. 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the food industry.
5. Familiarity with packaging materials, including laminates, and their impact on product quality.
6. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards.
10. Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.
