Qa/qc Engineer
Job Description
Job Purpose:
• To perform Inward, In-process inspections of Components, Valves & materials. To perform final inspection of the finished jobs.
Principal Accountabilities:
• To perform QC inspections as per the applicable code/standard requirements and documentation of inspection results on the approved QC formats.
• To ensure product conformity as per the client requirement.
• To coordinate with third party inspectors for any inspection as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan requirements.
• To maintain the current calibration status of measurement and test equipments that are used for QC inspections.
• To perform QC inspections at vendor facility for the subcontracted jobs.
• To assist QA/QC Manager in process and system audits.
• Follow and ensure the QC activities as per the Procedures & QMS.
Additional Responsibilities:
• To supply relevant copies of the company standard requirements when needed by the customers or suppliers.
• To prepare final documentation package for all completed projects.
• To contribute to implementing the company HSE policy and objectives.
Pre-Requisites:
• Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience in QC inspection activities.
• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is essential; a degree in Mechanical Engineering is an added advantage.
