Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure familiarity with ASME material standards, NDT, inspection standards, and pipe & fitting standards.
- Possess strong knowledge of fabrication activities related to filters, tanks, structural items, and equipment.
- Conduct incoming and stage inspections of flanges, fittings, plates, and pipes as per relevant standards.
- Perform in-process inspections, including fit-up, visual, and dimensional inspections, as per drawings.
- Manage documentation, control processes, and calibration activities effectively.
- Handle NDT processes, including offering and inspection activities.
- Oversee and manage inspection activities with third-party agencies and vendors.
- Comprehensive understanding of ASME standards, NDT techniques, and fabrication standards.
- Proficiency in visual, dimensional, and fit-up inspections during different stages of fabrication.
- Expertise in incoming and in-process inspections for various components.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills for inspection and calibration processes.
- Ability to manage and coordinate with third-party inspectors and vendors.
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and standards.
- Effective communication and organizational skills for smooth inspection workflows.
