Job Description

About the internshipSelected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives and develop comprehensive test plans
2. Create detailed, clear, and effective test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage
3. Execute test cases, report defects, and validate fixes, ensuring software meets quality standards
4. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress/Selenium and other relevant tools
5. Conduct regression testing to verify that new code does not adversely affect existing features
6. Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
7. Report all bugs clearly on Jira and maintain status and progress to closure
8. Maintain accurate records of test processes, results, and any necessary documentation
9. Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and any potential risks to the development team and stakeholders
10. Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and provide assistance when required in frontend and backend development using React.js and Node.js
11. Implement QA processes (Define bug life cycle, release notes, sign off for UAT, and uploading it to production)
12. Stay updated with industry best practices in testing and automation to improve testing processesRequirements:1. Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
2. Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role in software development
3. Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
4. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
5. Experience with automated testing tools, particularly Cypress
6. Familiarity with web development technologies such as React.js and Node.js is an advantage
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
8. Strong communication and collaboration abilities
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
10. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
