Job Description

Responsibilities-

- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.

- Ensure adherence to testing schedules and deadlines.

- Define testing objectives, scope, and criteria for success.

- Perform thorough manual testing of products to identify defects.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for all product features and functionalities.

- Conduct regression testing to ensure previously developed and tested software still performs after a change.

- Identify, document, and track defects and issues.

- Tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count)

- Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.

- Work closely with development teams to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues.

- Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure defects are resolved.

- Mentor and guide junior QA testers.

- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

- Provide regular feedback and conduct performance evaluations.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing methodologies.

- Implement best practices for manual testing.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in QA testing.

REQUIREMENTS: -

-3+ years of experience in software testing

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to lead and motivate a team of testers

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

- Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Center)
