You will be providing the strategic direction, best practice, and road map for achieving the desired outcomes. You would need a good understanding of the direction the field is taking within the context of Agile teams and DevSecOps and applied within a business services context. Within this role you\'ll be helping to lead and develop future test strategy as part of a fast-paced change program working closely with development. On a day-to-day basis you will work closely with the Development teams and technical leads to help to embed the new approaches and best practise within our development teams.Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Principle responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Direct the development and implementation of the Test strategy, methodology, discipline, and framework. \xe2\x80\xa2 Focus on an Automate first approach and integration with Modern DevSec Ops practises. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide leadership and technical expertise within functional and non-functional Test Automation and Testing \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for defining QA strategy standards, implementation, and execution in development projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be accountable for the implementation of test automation frameworks and projects, \xe2\x80\xa2 Mentor and provide guidance to the QA automation developers and managers, across multiple projects, offshore and in-house. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring that the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the QA strategy as defined. \xe2\x80\xa2 Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized Best Practices.
• Personal Skills & Qualities \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-motivated with strong team spirit; \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong work ethic \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently with little supervision as well as ability to work within a team; \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent multi-tasking skills; \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to communicate well to both technical and non-technical staff.

QualificationsQualifications

• Desirable Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 5 to 7 years of experience as a tester and more recently as a Test lead, leading test functions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience of working in an agile environment using a Scrum or Kanban approach. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience of the full development lifecycle. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong Software testing and analysis skills and able to drive testing strategies across multiple programmes
