Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled QA Lead to join our software company. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance efforts for our software development projects. You will work closely with the development team, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the overall quality assurance process for software development projects. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing Able to automate mobile apps via appium Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the quality of software products. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python. Utilize performance testing tools to identify and address performance issues. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman to validate the functionality and integration of APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues. Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, processes, and documentation. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software quality assurance. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new QA team members. Apply knowledge of JavaScript to support front-end testing and test automation. Utilise GitHub/Git for version control, collaborating with developers to maintain code repositories and continuous integration processes. Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a QA Lead or a similar role in a software development company. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Selenium automation using either Java or Python. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling. Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or similar tools. Sound knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub/Git. Excellent understanding of STLC processes and best QA practices Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
