Job Description
A quality assurance (QA) professional in the pharmaceutical industry, also known as a quality control professional, is responsible for ensuring that products meet standards at various stages of development. Their duties include:
• Audits, inspections, and assessments: To ensure compliance with regulations
• Document review: To ensure compliance with regulations
• Risk assessments: To ensure compliance with regulations
• Visual inspections: To ensure products meet standards
• Recording quality issues: To identify areas for improvement
• Planning processes: To reduce the likelihood of defects
• Contributing to quality systems and processes: To improve them over time
