We embrace diversity and believe that our differences in experience and perspective are the key to our sustained success.Responsibilities & QualificationsPosition SummaryAs a QA Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. This role requires a deep understanding of manual testing practices and the ability to work with various testing tools and methodologies. Your expertise will be critical in driving quality assurance processes and contributing to the overall improvement of our QA practices.A Day in the Life

  • Test Planning & Execution: Lead the design, development, and execution of detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing across different environments (e.g., web, mobile, APIs) to ensure all functionalities meet the desired specifications.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, ensuring that issues are resolved in a timely manner. Collaborate closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
  • Requirement Traceability: Ensure full traceability of test cases back to the original requirements, ensuring that all requirements are covered and validated. Maintain and update traceability matrices to track the status of requirements throughout the testing lifecycle.
  • Regression Testing: Execute regression tests to verify that existing functionalities remain unaffected by new code changes.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met and that there is clear communication throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Test Reporting: Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders, offering insights into the quality of the product and any potential risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance. Recommend and implement improvements to current QA processes and tools.
  • Test Automation Support: While the primary focus is on manual testing, support and collaborate with the automation team, particularly in integrating MABL into the testing process. This includes providing test scenarios and validating automated test results.
  • Performance Testing: Utilize tools such as JMeter to conduct performance testing, identifying bottlenecks and potential areas of improvement in the system's scalability and performance.

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or an equivalent degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong focus on manual testing and inclination to learn new technologies.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good to have knowledge of MABL, JMeter and new AI capabilities in testing .
  • Good to have knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
