We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of mobile applications across multiple platforms (iOS and Android). You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to identify bugs, ensure smooth functionality, and deliver a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for mobile applications. Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing on iOS and Android platforms. Identify, record, and track bugs using [bug tracking tools like JIRA.]. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Automate repetitive test cases using tools like Appium, Selenium, or similar frameworks. Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Validate compliance with mobile platform guidelines and industry standards. Provide detailed reports and metrics on testing progress, defect status, and coverage. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile QA and testing methodologies.
What You Will Do As A QA Engineer for Mobile• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Perform manual testing to validate app functionality, usability, and performance across different devices and operating systems.
• Automate repetitive test scenarios using tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger to ensure backend integration works seamlessly.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and performance testing to ensure quality at all stages of development.
• Debug and identify defects, record them using tools like JIRA, or similar, and ensure timely resolution with the development team.
• Validate compliance with platform-specific guidelines and industry best practices for mobile applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UI/UX designers to understand feature requirements and improve app quality.
• Analyze and optimize app performance, ensuring responsiveness and reliability under various conditions.
• Design and maintain testing documentation, including test cases, defect logs, and coverage reports.
• Monitor and analyze crash reports and user feedback to identify potential issues and areas of improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in mobile testing and quality assurance methodologies.


What You Will Bring As A QA Engineer for Mobile• 5+ years of experience in mobile application testing on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong understanding of mobile app development lifecycles and platform-specific guidelines.
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks like Appium, Detox, or Espresso.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Familiarity with testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or Firebase for debugging and performance analysis.
• Proficiency with bug tracking and test case management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies for QA processes.
