• Client Photoshop team is looking for a talented Quality engineer. As a part of the Photoshop Engineering team, you will spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.
• The ideal candidate is clearly who is adaptable to an agile environment, passionate about new opportunities in desktop application and has a proven track record of success in testing new features and products.
• Creating such reliable, scalable, and high performance products requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, desktop technologies and practical experience testing customer facing products
• The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic black-box tester, with experience working on desktop applications.
• You must have a great attitude, be keen to learn new technology, and be able to work independently.
• You will also possess excellent communication skills, have a methodical testing process and pay close attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions:

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute acceptance tests against release candidate software, in accordance with the test plan.
• File detailed issue reports for failing tests; work with automation and development engineers to verify fixes.
• Periodically review specifications and test plans, identifying gaps in coverage and supplementing with new test cases.
• Manage desktop environments for accurate install/update testing.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working in a Design software is a big plus.
• 2-6 years of experience working in software quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Testing Desktop applications
• Experience creating & executing test plans, filing bugs and working with engineering teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience setting up and managing Mac and Windows desktop environments.
• Experience with bug tracking systems and the bug lifecycle.
• Experience with test case management systems.
• Experience with Performance testing is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
