Key Responsibilities

Work alongside the design and engineering team on different layers of the infrastructure, developing and maintaining both our iOS and Android applications and integration with cloud services in an agile manner
Contribute to the look and feel of WhosOnLocation\xe2\x80\x99s mobile applications, as well as developing and shipping new features.
Participate in design and code reviews; ensuring high quality, organisation and automation
You\xe2\x80\x99ll work with product design and marketing teams to brainstorm new ideas to optimise user experience across tablet and mobile.
Collaborate with the team to determine the best solutions to difficult engineering problems.

Essential Skills

Commercial experience developing native mobile applications and are fluent in Objective-C and/or Swift for iOS devices (iPhone, iPad).
Commercial experience developing native mobile applications that are fluent in Kotlin and/or Java programming languages for Android devices (phones and tablets)
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Understand Apple\xe2\x80\x99s design principles and interface guidelines.
Understand Google\xe2\x80\x99s design principles and interface guidelines.
Have published (or can demonstrate a contribution) to an app to either Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Committed to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products.
Creative and entrepreneurial, passionate about working with the latest technologies.
Real passion for mobile technology; bonus points for experience with other mobile platforms.
Experience working with standard iOS frameworks such as Core Animation, Core Graphics, and Core Data.
Experience integrating mobile applications with third-party libraries and APIs.

Desirable Skills:

Overall high level knowledge of web based technologies including excellent HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding ability and standard
Programming experience in at least one web based language (PHP a big plus)
KANBAN familiarity, or other Agile Software Development Frameworks
An excellent understanding of developing using web API\xe2\x80\x99s
Issue tracking and project management using Jira
Independence, enthusiasm, superb communication and organisation skills
