Overview:
We are seeking a talented QA engineer who as good hands-on experience in software testing and automation. In this role, will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing functional and automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.
To ensure success as a QA engineer, you should have experience working in Agile scrum methodology, advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. A skilled QA Engineer who can design test cases, test execution and write efficient test procedures for every software application.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the user stories, creating functional test cases, reporting bugs etc.
- Proficient in test design, test execution and reporting
- Experience working in JIRA
- Working with the project team to discuss verification protocols.
- Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
- Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
- Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
- Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
- Designing and installing software databases.
- Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
- Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
- Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- 2 to 3 Years of experience in Software testing.
- 2+ years of experience working as a QA Engineer Automation.
- Proficient in test design, test execution and reporting
- Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
- Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and Selenium.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge in SQL (preferred) and API testing
