ROLE PROFILE You'll be part of a team which has adopted a truly Agile approach to deliver enhancements which drive the growth of the product. We are strengthening our automated test capabilities, and you will be instrumental in driving QA initiatives which ensure we delight our customers with all that we deliver. People are key to achieving this, so working with your team on their professional development will be an important part of your role. TECH PROFILE/ESSENTIAL SKILLS xe2x80xa2 Experienced Programmer and/or Automation Tester, with good technical skills xe2x80xa2 C#, .NET, Selenium and Python skills xe2x80xa2 Experience of using Selenium or other functional test automation tools xe2x80xa2 Self-starter - does what it takes to get the job done xe2x80xa2 Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment xe2x80xa2 Experienced, able and keen to work using Agile development methodologies xe2x80xa2 Excellent communication skills, verbal and written xe2x80xa2 Experience of test tracking tools xe2x80xa2 Proficient using source code management tools such as Git or SVN xe2x80xa2 Familiarity with and/or accreditation in AWS or similar Cloud technology xe2x80xa2 3 to 6 years of relevant experience PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE xe2x80xa2 Strong CI/CD build and automation pipeline knowledge. xe2x80xa2 Experience with containerization and related technologies. xe2x80xa2 SEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing/ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation, Advanced or Practitioner Level is desirable xe2x80xa2 Understanding of the SDLC and agile delivery methodology. xe2x80xa2 Ability to work independently and in a team environment. xe2x80xa2 Ability to communicate effectively in English with all levels of staff, both orally and written. xe2x80xa2 Ability to handle own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities under minimum supervision. xe2x80xa2 Highly motivated, self-directed individual with a positive & pro-active demeanor to work. xe2x80xa2 Be driven and committed to the goals and objectives of the team and organization. xe2x80xa2 Experience with JIRA and Confluence EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS xe2x80xa2 BE/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or STEM degree (Desirable). xe2x80xa2 Solid English reading/writing capability required. xe2x80xa2 Good communication & articulation skills. xe2x80xa2 Curious about new technologies and tools, creative thinking and initiative taking. DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES xe2x80xa2 Contribute to the definition and implementation of a QA strategy that aligns with our Agile principles and processes xe2x80xa2 Ensure coherent, pragmatic use of toolsets across our products xe2x80x93 reusing where appropriate xe2x80xa2 Work with the local management team to drive a xe2x80x98quality firstxe2x80x99 environment, not limited to Quality Engineering practitioners xe2x80xa2 Demonstrate Iterative improvement in the quality of our software and be accountable for the overall quality of releases xe2x80xa2 Apply and contribute to evolving a robust Agile implementation within the teams xe2x80xa2 Contribute to a wider QA CoP, ensuring your team is empowered to do the same xe2x80xa2 Develop and improve Quality Engineering standards, practices and metrics.
