Overview QA Team Lead (Automation) Role Overview The QA Automation Team Lead is responsible for developing, maintaining and executing automated test suites that guarantee the quality of our digital care management CLOUD platform. Success in this role is demonstrated by being a team player, coaching others to deliver high quality work, gaining thorough understanding of our applications, implementing robust automation framework for our web applications, expanding our API test framework, translating business requirements that have an impact on patient care into automated regression suites that help speed up development and ensure high quality of releases prior to deployment to production. Areas of Responsibility: Keep abreast with new and emerging industry standards and implement learnings to enhance our automation frameworks and strategy Design, develop and maintain robust automation test suites for new and existing features of our web applications using industry standard tools like Selenium with Java-Cucumber Train others on the framework and best practices, perform code reviews and verify coding standards are being met Configure environments and setup data for automation jobs to run successfully across different environments Schedule requisite automation jobs to run on different environments Execute automation test scripts, analyze failures and report issues. Integrate automation pipelines into CI/CD Help build out an unified, robust reporting framework for automation test results Estimate, prioritize, plan, and deliver on tasks allocated to the team Provide timely status updates Contribute to the API test automation Know-how of mobile automation frameworks is a plus. Education, Experience, & Skills Required [ hard skills ] : A B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field of study. 12+ years experience testing enterprise software with complex integrations in an agile development environment 3+ years testing in Cloud based deployments using microservices and micro-frontend architecture (Node.js, React or similar) 8+ years progressive experience designing, developing, implementing and maintaining web automation frameworks using industry standard tools like Selenium with Cucumber-Java, CI/CD integration and reporting frameworks. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner. Well versed in API automation using Rest Assured, Postman or JMeter Proficient in Java, Python, SQL Good working knowledge of GitLab is a plus Strong understanding of test-driven development (TDD/BDD) and ability to advocate and teach best practices. Experience with mobile automation is preferred Passionate, Detail-oriented and Proactive Quality Advocate with excellent planning, documentation and communication skills Proven ability to mentor and work effectively with globally distributed teams.
