Position Overview:

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 2+ years of experience to design, implement, and maintain test automation solutions, driving continuous quality improvement and seamless integration across the development lifecycle.



Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies aligned with Agile principles, covering both functional and non-functional testing.
• Design and execute detailed test plans for user stories within Agile sprints, focusing on end-to-end (E2E) workflows, REST API testing, and UI testing.
• Perform non-functional testing practices, including performance and security testing, ensuring high-quality product delivery in Agile iterations.
• Participate in test automation efforts, using frameworks like Selenium for web automation and Rest Assured for API testing to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and create effective, actionable test cases.
• Oversee the entire testing lifecycle within Agile sprints, including test case creation, test execution, defect logging, and tracking.
• Analyze test results, identify the root causes of defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and implement best practices within the Agile framework.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests and ensure smooth delivery pipelines.
• Maintain proficiency in Git for version control and collaborate effectively within the team.
• Utilize TestNG and other Java-based testing frameworks for efficient test execution and reporting.
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies in software testing, Agile methodologies, and payment systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing, including performance and security testing.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks like Selenium and Rest Assured.
• Experience with REST API testing and UI testing.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG and other Java-based testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Strong understanding of Git for version control.
• Excellent collaboration skills with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes of defects and work towards quick resolution.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to document test cases, results, and defects clearly.
